    Yes, all the mechanical technology is pretty cool, but we still need an explanation of the physics.
    To produce an image, the detector must capture "X" number of photons. Given that the frame rate is "Y" million frames per second, how do they capture sufficient photons to produce an image?

    Although impressive as all the camera advancements were. What is being used by the militaries of some nations have and are using better equipment, and working on better. Optics are not involved. Pulse weapons. Cavity finders, see through objects, even more crazy. They can flip a switch and cook anyone in its sites.

    Gee now… I am not a pro photographer or anything… but I like to think I can hold my own… but I never ever thought that I would be walking into the photo shop and say "Yes, I want the one with the gas turbine mirror driven by helium." Not sure what the response to that should be… something like … "ok… do you want fries with that?" or something like… "If you can wait till this weekend for it, you can catch our buy one get one free sale for that model." or even… "We are out of that one currently… but we do have a German model driven by hydrogen… it is a lot cheaper… but you must be significantly more diligent in following the safety instructions for this model."
