Photographer Interview – Kira Vygrivach

How did you hear about Meero? Thanks to my good friend, who also works here, I found out about Meero. He was the one who suggested me
to try collaborating with Meero and see how it goes. So just like that, I partnered with Meero
and started shooting videos for Airbnb. What do you think about Meero? Thanks to Meero, I get job requests regularly, and don’t have to do things that I don’t like, such as looking for clients, engage in before and
after conversations with clients, and other sorts of communications
that lead to a dead end. And then the editing process, which I like to do, but not as much as doing a photo or video shoot; and with Meero, the editing part goes much faster. But if I need to edit the photos, I can still do it
for my other external clients. Do you think Meero is a threat to photographers? I think nowadays we go mostly online, but then there’s also an offline part, VIP and tailor made, and it will continue to be valued more and more. Even if Meero will take care of a part that is more universal and standardized, I will always continue with the tailor-made work. If I can develop my own community of
photographers and clients, I will continue to produce this customized work. My goal is to take photos, adding a touch of their unique personality to them, and understanding that it’s not only
the result that counts, but also what happens before and afterwards. So if I can differentiate myself from others,
and teach my clients to value that, then it will work out.
