Hold Print in Windows 10

Hold Print in Windows 10

let’s talk about how to set up the hold
print on the Windows 10 system for our printers here at Wayland you are going
to navigate down to the start or the windows button down here and you’re
going to navigate up from there to the settings you can also type in printers
right now but I think this is just easier and then I’m going to navigate
over to devices and I see printers and scanners right here and what you’re
going to want to do is find the printer that you would like to do the hold
print on it’s probably going to be your default printer I am going to do it on a
different printer right now I will click on that printer and I will select manage
and I’m going to go to printing preferences once you get this let me
just pull it up a little bit you are looking for where it says output method
and right now mine says print I’m going to change this to hold when I do this it
says the output method will be switched to hold you can set the name of the data
to hold in the hold detail dialog by clicking the details button next to the
drop-down list box so you’ll notice right here there’s
details and this will be the name that for the hold on there you can change it
to whatever you would like or even use a file name I’ll tap on OK and then I need
to make sure I click on apply and ok and now I’ve set the whole fun print
function for all of my printing jobs to that particular printer if you need to
do it for different printers please repeat the same process for each of
those various printers
