Drawing it UP! – 5-Card Draw Poker

Drawing it UP! - 5-Card Draw Poker

what's up youtubers this is flicks for grunting it up or should I say drawing it up I'm currently playing a 25 cent 50-cent pot limit five-card draw table let's see how that works out for me let me just play those aces here so he discards one card which means that basically he's representing either two pair or a flush or straight draw and we beat his two pair now which means that we should try and bet as big as possible to look like a bluff maybe to get looked up and there we go we shipped the pot right away that's awesome what did he have really curious I guess yeah like I don't know one pair busted flush draw busted straight draw wow he just caught with five nine four three seven that is is he playing like a low game or something I don't know he might mistake this table for a Radz 5 card is there five card rats actually I don't know well let me just sit up for a second because I wanted to explain to you the reason why I'm actually recording this video at the moment because it's stud and draw weak on PokerStars yes that's right what does that mean well basically it means a lot of free potential money for you guys to be one but also a lot of fun to be had because you know I've been playing a little bit at this table I can actually show you and click you right through some of the highlights that I've played and got to that $70 stack starting with 50 bucks I mean it's not much but for me it's a lot considering you know I've been winning a couple of hands and I feel good about them but I think I made some substantial mistakes also so it you know there's lots to look there's lots to learn about this game it's really interesting it's intriguing somehow I like it I like it so basically yeah there is a couple of challenges coming up starting draw week-long challenges so you have to start right now in order to complete them by the end of the week and if you complete the challenges you will be entered into $7,500 all and shootout so there's free money to be won for you there there's different challenges here revolving around cash games you have to win 25 cash game hands of seven card stud 25 cash game hands of razz which I've really never played before 25 cash game hands playing draw games any draw games like this one or seven card stud high-low and then there is another challenge which I can show you you just click on this challenge button just go to your PokerStars client right hand side there's a challenge button there's also a leaderboard revolving around the the cash game hands like you win in stud or a draw there we go I won 18 hands which puts me in the top 30% that's pretty pretty cool you got to beat the clock challenge revolving around stud and draw and the week-long challenges which it just showed you to beat the clock ones are basically winning ten stuttered draw cash game hands within one hour and get an entry to a $3,000 all-in shootout and there's even more stuff coming up on stud and draw week here for you guys there's the deposit bonus code if you just enter stud draw as a deposit bonus code we need to pause at 30 bucks or more by May 31st you receive a bundle of 550 tournament tickets valid for all stud and draw sitting goes which I will try for sure as well well beat the clock challenges and the leaderboards there's 20k in cash prizes to be to be one across four leaderboards weekly tournaments well just check your client you can see there's a lot of like draw tournaments as well you know stud and draw tournaments just check those out happy hours that's something that I am looking forward to because I'm always in a need for VP peace from a supernova status so that's always great to see if you have some happy hours and increases the near earning of VP bees and a few peas by 50% that's pretty nice so left to check out when the happy hours are launched happy hours are actually is that et so that's +6 for Central European Time well I should be doable anyways just check out the happy hours if you're interested in that and twitch specials that's also for you guys from me for you I'm gonna be twitching on my own channel playing some draw games you'll see me fail probably you'll see me make a lot of mistakes and we can we can really have a lot of fun playing these draw games I think this this will be a great adventure it's gonna be starting tomorrow so I'm gonna be streaming on Tuesday which is tomorrow I'm recording this on Monday and on Saturday next week this week so yes stay tuned I'm really looking forward to that for now let's let's let's get back to the table I'm gonna I'm gonna browse like while playing we're just gonna browse through so many hands that I've played all right let's have a look at this hand here sitting on the button with a pair of kings I'm facing a small open for middle position making the call he discards one I discard three in hopes of improving my pair of kings and since he just took one card I figured that he either tried to improve his two pair combinations or he was trying to go for a straight or a flush because people usually discs are just one when they're looking for the last flash card or the last straight card or when they want to just you know improve their two pair to maybe a full house so this means he either has a full house a flush a straight two pair which people are not gonna make that often and a whole lot of Bluffs when he just discards one to go for that you know flush or a straight draw and I decided to just go ahead and Bluff catch and I was correct he was indeed going for the flush there we go we got Queen five deuce Jack King that's not much so I have a queen a jack and a king but they're not suited so I guess I'm just gonna dump them unless I get a really good price to see the next cards that's too big of a raise I'm just gonna fold here I mean I would need to keep king queen Jack and then trade two to try and make maybe like one pair two pair of kings queens and Jack's or straight the odds for that I don't know I haven't done my math but oh that looks like a nice hand I mean I'm close to having a royal flush here ace Jack 10 all in spades I think I'm gonna go for that one for sure let's see in the meantime I'm still clicking still clicking oh well we got to see I gotta see what we can do here I will have to trade these two I mean I have to trade away the King but I can make a flush I can make a royal flush I can make top pair can make two pair and I can make a straight so discarding two ah that was close at least we could have made a flush but now I got a pair aces I think that's already good start so this guy only trades one card which either means he has a draw or two pair so if he bets into two people I think there was a sub on twitch thank you for the sub by the way if this guy bets I think he has a strong hand he could actually use this as a good bluff spot I don't know it looks very strong and that looks pretty strong he also discarded one card now he could just pick this Bluff spot against two people I don't know my aces look good as a bluff catcher I think he never has a strong hand so he should have bet his strong hands in his Bluffs so he could still be bluffing I think I'm gonna look him up that looks like a big bed size I'm just gonna try and see if he busted his draw oh my god this guy yeah this guy wasn't a busted draw and we were actually correct this guy wasn't a busted draw but this guy checked his trips that's pretty interesting that's interesting that's very interesting so he checked his trips probably hoping that the player who had the preflop initiative would put out a bet with uh potentially his Bluffs I think that's a good strategy because I think this player yeah I like that that players lying there cuz he can check to the player here hoping that he will bet his busted drawers and his two pair which he beats with the trips and he could even still have the chance to check race so I like that players line so varying that out I should have folded my Paris's I thought I was bluffing against him but I just figured you know he might have been giving up on a busted draw pretty interesting spot for sure I learned a lot during just one single hand of draw poker that's amazing oh well you'll see lots more if you follow me on Facebook I'm gonna upload some of these hands for sure and you can also follow me on Twitch so tomorrow this is gonna be 12 CET which is 6 p.m. Central European Time I'm gonna be streaming both in English language and in German language I'm gonna be playing some more of that fun pot limit five-card draw for sure because that's all that's that's a whole lot of fun for sure I'm really into that right now and yeah I'll see you guys on Tuesday or on Saturday either here on Twitch and I'll keep you guys updated so for now time to hit the tables everybody enjoy playing some stud and draw games and and get some of that free money so see you guys let's just fold ten seven nine six three this is three spades we could make a flush we could make its trade but it's the first position we have so many players behind just gonna fold alright that's it Sargent is signing off thank you for watching don't forget to subscribe put a thumbs up if you liked the video and if you enjoy starting draw poker check out the Poker Stars stud and draw a week and see you guys bye bye

I have made a new Draw Poker variant (Poker Deluxe), which allows you to play with more or less than 5 cards. But all the rankings can also be carried over for the regular Draw Poker rules: http://www.nobochamp.de/pokerdeluxe2.html

Really enjoy draw and I wish more people played it. Maybe these challenges will help get more people interested.
