Good evening folks! EXCITING NEWS: Last year I cofounded a Neosoul/Funk/Jazz/fusion band called Pangolin. Last month we played a session LIVE at SoFar Sounds London which you can watch here!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiBZu-LslHA&t=2s . The song "Double Consciousness" in the video is based on "Puzzle". Enjoy

    NEW ALBUM! https://robertdimbleby.bandcamp.com/album/change-of-scene

Hey All! My 3rd album of original music is here. 9 tracks of groove based instrumental jazz fusion. I started this album at the end of sixth form so it's a been a while in the making, but I'm very proud of it, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

You can download a digital copy of it from bandcamp at the link above for 3 pounds, or you can wait a few weeks and I'll have hard copies that I'll be selling for a few quid more!

Finally, thanks to Anna Nichols Pike for the wonderful artwork! 😀

Enjoy, let me know what you think! 🙂

Good old English plug sockets. One of the many things I miss after moving to bloody America full of smooth talking narcissists and capitalist dead beats.

Robert, I just came across your videos because I was looking into getting the Casio Privia PX-150 piano. You are an extremely talented young man! I have really enjoyed listening/watching your videos. I am a classically trained pianist and violinist and I would LOVE to play jazz piano like you! I will continue to follow you and watch you develop. Keep up the great work – you have a bright future ahead of you!!!

Hello Robert.  I'm a big fan of yours ever since I was linked to your videos in the Piano World Forums a year ago.  I wanted to ask you, at what point did you decide to go into the jazz route?  You mentioned you were classically trained and I am doing the same with my teacher.  I don't have much time playing (6 months) but my focus from the beginning was to have a solid foundation in theory even if it is through classical and then focus on jazz.  Do you think this is a good idea?

I hope you get into the best music school/university around if that's what you're aiming for. Your improv skills are truly amazing and when your young age is factored in, it's very remarkable. What is your life goal with music? Whatever it is, you are on the right track man. Keep up the great jams!
