2018 Art of the Lakes Studio Tour

2018 Art of the Lakes Studio Tour

Art of the Lakes Studio Tour started in 2001 with about half a dozen artists opening their opening their studios. In 2018, we have 58 participating at 24 different studios. It’s, actually, a beautiful scenic tour from
one place to another and you will spot, along the roadside, bright yellow signs with black letters. I’m Kristi Kuder. I am a fiber artist and a wire sculptor. One of over 50 artists in this year’s Art
of the Lakes Studio Tour. We have a wide variety of artists who are
participating. We have painters, we have sculptors, we have
fiber artists, we have potters, glass blowers. You will find a whole variety. I’m Mary Jo Wentz and I am an alcohol ink artist. I, and other artists, will be here at Off the
Wall in Clitherall Minnesota for the Art of the Lakes Studio Tour. We are going to have artists demonstrating,
snacks, and of course, extraordinary art for you to see and, perhaps, purchase. We look forward to seeing you here. I’m Noni Bjorklund. I’m a jewelry maker and an oil painter. I hope you will come by and see me at my studio,
Handcrafted by Noni, on Nokomis Street in Alexandria. After you’ve stopped in here, please stop
by other artists’ studios nearby. The Studio Tour is always the third weekend
of July. Friday, Saturday, and some of the studios
are open on Sunday, and it will tell you that in the brochure. Please stop by downtown Battle Lake at the Art of the Lakes Gallery and pick up a brochure that tells all about the artists at Art of
the Lakes or on our website which is art of the lakes.org.
